Your muscles are weak after two months in a cast. So it takes some time to retrain them. Barefoot ensures gentle for the necessary training and strengthening the muscles. There is more tension in the muscles to go with shoes, but it's a good thing, because the muscles that help to regenerate faster.
Because the skin of the plant is also especially sweet after two months in a cast, especially the fact that not everything that could hurt their feet, doing step.
Even going barefoot is good, but requires additional precautions during the first week or two. Then, help them recover more quickly, in the leg.

Barefoot was fine as is the normal way on foot, without shoes.

Barefoot is better to go for a walk, of course. I always had my kids go barefoot.
